Biography
Michelle Colestock was raised on a three-generation grain and livestock farm near Wagner, South Dakota. She is the sixth of ten children raised on their family farm. She learned her love and respect for the land and animals from her first boss--her Dad--who is still active in farming at the age of 80.

Michelle opened the Groton office in January 2005 and became an Alan Kluis Affiliate in 2007-8. Prior to this, she had worked for several agri-business companies in Northeast South Dakota, including accounting positions with SDWG, Wheetco and REA Hybrids.

Biography
Wayne Dvorak was born and raised on a farm near Ashton, South Dakota. He attended South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. However, the desire to farm brought him back to Ashton, where he eventually farmed 3,800 acres of wheat, corn, and beans, plus had 300+ beef cows and backgrounded the calves.

Now a risk management consultant, Wayne enjoys working with farmers to help them do a better job of making marketing decisions. He also continues to farm 2,700 acres. "I believe marketing and risk management are the two places most operations need the most improvement to maximize profits," says Wayne. "But I still love to farm."

Wayne is a member of the rural volunteer fire department and his township board, and enjoys fishing, camping, hunting, and other outdoor activities. He lives in Ashton with his family.
